This Fix is for Windows XP Home/Pro users ONLY that have run into this !!PROBLEM!!.
"After installing the panel I tried FS2002 but program hangs up on loading and when
I press Ctrl+Alt+Del a screen pops up with the following Error"
HGHB Gauge Error
Open Registry Write
Thanks to Tom Cavanagh from Bromont Quebec Canada who sent the Fix to me as follows.
PROBLEM
****************************************************************************** The attached gauge "DF182_alt_air.gau causes FS2002 startup to hang up with a
"HGHB" Gauge fault indicated by the WIN-XP pro Task Manager.
FIX

Removal of the file "DF182_alt_air.gau" solves the Problem.
Go to the ..\FS2002\Gauges Folder and find these two files "DF182_alt_air.gau" and DF172_VO2_0001.gau" then REMOVE them Both. The file "DF172_VO2_0001.gau" was included
by mistake,it doesn't cause a problem but I would remove it.
Install the New gauge to replace the one causing the "Error", new gauge filename is
"dfd_genlever.gau (Bitmaps by Chuck Grimes,Programmed by Dai Griffiths. The included
new panel.cfg will call it up.
NEW Files ATTACHED AND DISTRIBUTION

dfd_genlever.gau and Cessna172.gau....install into your ..\FS2002\Gauges Folder.
CG172R_main.bmp and Panel.cfg.........install into your ..FS2002\C172\PANEL Folder.
The file "Cessna172.gau" sets up the Night Lights for the EGT/Fuel Flow gauge.
